Review the policies and quality framework that apply across the Morris Peppy research catalog.
Why different research compounds need different analytical targets
A research catalog may include peptides, peptide blends and other chemical categories. Their testing should not be treated as interchangeable simply because the packaging is similar. Define the intended chemical form, sample basis and relevant analytical question before interpreting a report.
For example, an identity assessment for a non-peptide compound must target that compound, not borrow an identity conclusion from a peptide method. Likewise, measuring an intended element in a complex does not by itself confirm the complete chemical identity.
Reading specifications without turning them into results
A specification describes what is expected or required. A laboratory result describes what was measured in the submitted sample. A label’s milligram amount, chemical identifier or expected molecular weight should not be presented as if it were an independently measured batch value.
- Match the exact target and form.
- Check lot identity and report applicability.
- Separate qualitative identification from quantitative content.
- Read the reporting basis and method limitations.
Use the certificate-reading framework for documentary checks, and method comparison for understanding what each type of measurement can establish.
